As you probably already know, I’m a big fan of apps and modernizing various aspects of the quilting industry! As someone who has a quilting app (My Quilts), I love to support and promote other businesses who are also hard at work making cool tech for the quilting world!
What is Quilt ink?
Quilt Ink is an awesome web app that allows quilters to digitally color/ mock-up quilt patterns with the fabrics of their choice! That’s right, I said FABRICS not just “colors”. It has tons of actual solid fabric lines already uploaded and ready for you to use!
You can choose a quilt pattern that you want to make, select the fabric line that you like to use, and start playing! It’s like a digital grown up coloring page for quilters! It’s SO fun and a little bit addicting!

We, as quilters, are visual creatures. Coloring your quilts on Quilt Ink can help you visualize EXACTLY what your quilt will look like before you make it! Not only can you visualize it, but you can plan it exactly. Some patterns will even give you the exact fabric requirements according to how you mocked it up!
It takes all the guessing out of the planning and even makes it fun! You might even surprise yourself with some of the mock-ups you end up making and loving!

For me, this is a great marketing tool. I can upload all my patterns so that quilters can color in and plan their quilts. I can also upload all of my fabrics so that quilters can actually visualize what their quilt will look like with my fabric! Not to mention, I myself, can create tons of mock ups quickly and easily to help me show off a pattern or fabric line.
