The trajectory quilt is a modern geometric pattern with movement and negative space! It’s a great art piece to show off your skills and your favorite color palette. This quilt does require some templates and precision.

Trajectory was originally designed for one of the very first Modish Quilter Magazine issues. The magazine has since been closed and I now have the pattern available here.

I loved this quilt so much I decided to turn it into a quilt coat! I used the Coda Quilted Coat Pattern by Love Notions. And its fabulous! I love the way the quilt pattern makes the jacket asymmetrical. It keeps the eye moving around the garment. Sleek and modern!
