I have 3 girls, so being able to make bows and dresses is a must! I have had lots of people ask what patterns I like using the most so I’m here to share all!
BOW Pattern
I have been using a free tutorial on Bernina’s blog, “Quick & Easy Fabric Hair Bow Tutorial (Beginner- Friendly!)”. I love a good free tutorial. However, you kind of have to read between the lines on this one, as I don’t think it does the best job at walking you through it. But the results are darling!
I bought this pack of alligator clips from amazon to attach to the back of each bow. It comes with a lot- so now you can make one for every little girl you know! Haha.
Dress Pattern
My favorite dress to make for little girls is the Geranium Dress by Made by Rae. The reason I like this pattern so much is because it has tons of variations you can choose from and it has sizes 0-12! So it’s perfect for my kids ages.
You can add cap sleeves, short sleeves, long sleeves, collar, notched collar, pockets, etc!
I got a big pack of these buttons on amazon that work great for all kinds of fabric. They look so cute with this dress.
Bows & Dresses for everyone!
I may have gone a bit overboard with the Fruitful collection and made bows and dresses for two of my girls and one of my best friends girls! And of course, we have to take a fun picnic photo shoot! Which color bow and dress is your favorite?
